From Hamburg Wholesale Market Hermann Albers Obst & Gemüse GmbH trades all year round with fresh vegetables and fruit. For our customers work 18 employees: five sellers with many years of experience and an extensive knowledge of all kinds of vegetables and fruits; four administrative staff members and nine order pickers. The retail space on the wholesale market is about 600 m², and as large addional cooling capacities.
In the Hermann Albers Obst & Gemüse GmbH our traditional family company lives on - now in its fourth generation.
Today It's one of the few full-line wholesalers at Hamburg Wholesale Market.
Our clients include wholesalers, retailers, gastronomy suppliers, and restaurants
mainly from northern Germany, but also from Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
The big plus of our company is our good knowledge of the goods.
Our sellers know everything about our products and advise our customers
which varieties are right for their needs.
A high product quality, reliable service and punctuality are part of our standard
service. Regular training provides our staff always with up-to-date knowledge -
as especially on fresh foods a high level of competence is an important pillar.
The company Hermann Albers e.K. is the first in Hamburg, has received the IFS certification in
Cash & Carry / Wholesale area at a higher level to trade in fruits, vegetables
and fresh herbs. This stays unchanged.
The certificate guarantees structured processes and records high
food and product safety as well as a high quality and a transparent traceability.
The audit is repeated annually.
